Hi Team- I have set up minecraft server- both standard, and craftbukkit server and i get the same result both ways.  the server runs fine, but I don't understand how to access the game itself.  nothing happens when I run teh server the second time.  I mean, the server runs, says it's running, but no game gui comes up.

Installed the latest java on Windows 7 pro/64bit.  Server properties refers to =localhost.  That fixed a java bind error, and like I say it runs, but the game gui where you sign in never appears.  Can anyone help?

Need a Bump

Team- need to bump this one- the basic question is- once you have the Minecraft server running: the stats are real-time, the log and chat shows everything normal ([INFO] Done (6.075s)! For help, type "help" or "?") can anyone please tell me precisely what you are supposed to do next (what to click on, etc) to bring up the game GUI?

I installed the minecraft server today again on another computer- vista this time, and the exact same thing- the server process is working perfectly- what do you click on or do to actually start the game console?

Thanks in advance team-

Run the server via the console, open up your MC game and type 'localhost' if you're the one accessing it.

For your buddies or whoever else, you'll need to make sure you've port-forwarded and then give them your EXTERNAL ip.
