Servers won't show on the client? [Locked]

When ever I open the World of Minecraft client (new updated one) it goes to the server list but it is blank. this happened before i updated too. Also when i put a direct link to a server iand press "Go!" it just takes me to a single player map. how do i fix this? I added a picture if it helps.

Most common cause is due to incorrect password or not being able to connect to minecraft.net
Check to make sure you have the right password.
