Severe Lag [Solved]

Hi, I was walking around the server last night looking at everyone's work. I was on the minecart track near Mushville I believe it was called and I froze... I have tried reloading Minecraft and rebooting my computer but today I am still frozen. Once in a while it will move, so it is very severe lag. I cannot even take a step without waiting like 5 minutes. Is there something in that area causing the problem, and is there any way I can get out of my predicament?

You can use a command like /spawn or /tpa [username] and teleport out of your current area, but I'm not sure that will fix the lag, as the lag may be clientside. Hope I helped :)
