I can definitely confirm that they exist. The largest shop is mine. ALL MINE.
You can totally expect there to be great deals there.
However, if you're considering renting a shop, they are a bit pricey. However, it's pretty worth it, considering the land is pretty close to spawn, very accessible, and the centre is very, very well designed.
