I downloaded World of Minecraft and typed in my username and password. I clicked "Sign In", and this came up:
Unable to authenticate
Your username/password may be incorrect or there are no servers to validate your login.
I've checked and double-checked my username and password, and they are correct, and they are my Minecraft user and password, not my World of Minecraft user and password. Does anyone have any ideas?
I don't know if it makes any difference, but I have Mac 10.8.2, the latest Mountain Lion update, and I have Java 7.10, the latest Java update. I also have the Remember and Valid boxes checked.
WoM has compatibility issues with Java 7, so my advice would be to downgrade to Java 6. In addition, the latest World of Minecraft client, 2.0.8 has not been optimised for Mac yet.
i put my login/password in correctly 23 times and it still gives me the auth error
Try unchecking the Valid button
@SkYaRa: Do you have a link for that? I don't see how you get that for OSX.
@123jasen: I don't think that the more you input it the more likely it'll respond. :P
@AwesomeG2: Doesn't work. :(
@tonipwns85: It doesn't work for OSX.
This is the link to the new update download of World of Minecraft Client 2.0.8
You can find the link here
2.0.8 is not up for OSX
