Hey guys,

just a short question, because i haven't played mc like the last 6 months:

found a slime in a swampland biome, and i also know, that slimes only spawn in some specific Chunks so my question:

Is there one of those chunks in that swampland? or are slimes also able to spawn without those chunks, if there is swampland?

I think so...

For one thing, Slime-bearing chunks are predetermined using a formula. I'd tell you what it was if I knew :D

They also have a chance to spawn in any swamps, interestingly usually during full moons.

So if i got it right, its

So if i got it right, its unlikely that a cave under heigh 40 in which slimes could spawn will be sucessful?

I think

Yep, Unless it comes from a swampland during a full moon, they will only spawn on those predetermined chunks.

In swamplands, they can spawn almost every night, the more full the moon is, the more likely they are to spawn, the only nights that they can't spawn is when the moon is empty.

In underground slime chunks, they can spawn at any time.

Okay

Okay, thanks for the clarification.
