Both servers are being updated.
You can log in, but don't expect to do much, or for your work to stay. Several things are still not working, so stop asking and just sit back and be patient while the update is completed. When you join, you will spawn in the pvp side. Do NOT attack other players unless they agree to it.
You have not lost your stuff, or your homes. Just be patient until everything is merged.
