So, with Minecraft version 1.4.4 out, some of you have updated and are wondering when the servers will do the same.
The basic truth of the matter is this: We don't know. Unlike the old World of Minecraft SMP, public SMP runs off of plugins made by other people. Because we have to wait for Bukkit and those plugins to update, there is no real way of telling when MrSnowGlobe will be able to start the shift to 1.4.4.
Or, basically, the same thing that we did when 1.4.2 came out.
Also, because of this fact, please don't make your own threads about this. Instead, post any questions here and then we can have all of them answered in one place.
Please be patient as we slowly wait for this transition to be complete.

1.4.5 is a client-only update, it'll be able to connect to 1.4.4 servers.

i have minecraft 1.4.4 so i used digix Mcluancher so i have alots of old update also i have 1.4.2 
i can choose the update whatever i want to

Snow won't update it before all the plugins are updated.
But I heard ( CAN BE WRONG ) that nextweek , there another update shall come 1.4.5. ( correct me if i'm wrong )
And that they are waiting to update there plugins for the 1.4.5 :D
Not sure have to check into it :D
