I would like to start off by stating, I am truly sorry, and I personally despise greifers with a burning passion.
So I am requesting that OfficialSmudge can be unbanned.
This is what happened: I was wondering around, when I saw a railway, which I assumed was abandoned, so I snatched a few Redstone Torches, and I went on my way. A few days later, I attempt to sign on; however, I am denied, and instead presented with a display, alerting me that I have been banned for a week for, "greifing public railway." So I sign on with my alturnative account, when I remembered the torches I snaged a few days back. I wondered around near spawn, and found the entrance to the public railway.
I am truly sorry for what happened, and I hate the idea of being catagorized as a greifer... I am hereby pleading for an unban, however I will serve the time if you so request.

minor griefing bans like this usually last around a week, please wait out the duration of your ban.

DVerbi, I was not banned until several days later, there are 6 and some hours remaining as of now.

Just a little tip for the future, If you want to use a structure that you believe to be abandoned make sure you ask a staff member if it's alright first.

I've got to ask, what led you to assume a railway leading directly out of spawn was abandoned ?
You removed blocks nearly up to the spawn claim.
FYI I took back a number of redstone torches from your chests. As I couldn't locate the wool and glowstone dust I'll grab that when your week is up.

Your asking the moderators to unban you, when your sentence is only 1 week and in your comment you say "a few days later" (3) I say just wait the 4 other days. You'll be able to return the torches once your back in-game.
