Hello,

I am posting on behalf of my 9 yo daughter. Her username is kuhngale. She was banned for 6 days a few weeks ago, and didn't know why, but just decided to wait it out. Today, she attempted to reenter the server and found that she is now banned for 2 months for "griefing." She doesn't even know how to grief and to the best of her and my knowledge she has never done so. Can this ban be overturned? Also, if there is something she is not supposed to be doing, please let us know!

"Griefing" on our server is removing or altering any blocks or items that don't belong to you. After a bit of digging, I found that she removed quite a few wool blocks from our public railway system, along with a few other things in the railway. As for the reason for the time change on the ban, what most likely happened is one staff member found just a few blocks broken, so issued a ban for 6 days. Then later on, another staff member found a larger amount of blocks broken in another place, and so then increased the ban duration.

However, since she has been offline for over 2 weeks, I've unbanned the account for now. Just make sure that nothing else gets removed that isn't hers. Make sure she knows that messing with anything that is not naturally spawned, or that she didn't place is considered griefing.
