You could make it a "Strawberries, and other foods!" mod or something.
Specialy since you've already mentioned not just strawberries, but chocolate, and the possibility of other berries/foods too.

I can't tell you all how great it is to see such support already. I never imagined that this little mod idea between a couple friends (Deadly and I) could grow into something people actually had a fair amount of interest in.
As such, look forward to an official thread soon. One both here on World of Minecraft, and probably another on the Minecraft Forums. Before that happens though, I'd like to nail down exactly where the future of the mod will go, and who better to ask but the people who are looking forward to playing it?
So, please feel free to post any and all ideas you have from now on. I think Deadly and I would both like to see the mod move into a more "Berries and other foods" direction like Usoka mentioned. So, to catch you all up, here are a FEW of the ideas that have been tossed around.
*DISCLAIMER* IF FOR SOME REASON YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT THESE ARE IDEAS, AS PREVIOUSLY STATED, AND ITERATED OVER HERE, DO NOT BE OFFENDED WHEN I, OR OTHERS, SARCASTICALLY RESPOND. IT WASTES ALL OF OUR TIME WHEN PEOPLE DON'T READ THINGS ALL THE WAY THROUGH *DISCLAIMER*
-Machine Blocks: These machine blocks would build the core functionality of the mod. Similar to the crafting table in Vanilla, any machine block needs a multitude of uses. Currently, some ideas we have are Juicers (to make all manner of fruit-flavored beverages!) and something akin to a Sifter or Strainer (to seperate out raw materials. An example use of this could be:
Strawberry placed in juicer > Generates strawberry juice and strawberry pulp as an extract > extract in sifter generates seeds > seeds planted to grow super strawberries, which yield more strawberries than a naturally-occuring bush would.
-Additional Food: Things such as berries, banannas, kiwi's, etc
-More recipes: Why be limited to simple cakes?
-Wacky insane stuff: *cough* giantblock-generatedchocolatecoveredrabbit*cough*

Already you've thrown some idea's at us and we've been tossing them between us and talking about each one (sort-of....) Right now we are simply working on the basic structure of the mod itself and once we get it more stable, we will start adding in your guys' submissions and ideas!
Also, of course we would love some beta testers once we start finalizing the mod! It would be extremely helpful to have more people playing around with different ways to use them, learn how they work, and find any possible bugs or glitches so we can fix them before a final release is made!

Maybe Kiwi fruit, but not Kiwis, there's near extinct as it is already!
As a New Zealander (AKA a Kiwi) I know that they're meant to be called (Judged by people living in the country they live in) Kiwi fruit (The fruit), Kiwi (The bird), and Kiwis (New Zealanders).

So I wanted to give you guys a sneak peak at our latest addition....it's a very important block as it will GREATLY increase the potential of the mod by single handingly adding in hundreds of possible additions to the mod!
(Note: it is not 100% finished yet. Just a rough mock-up :D)
