That kinda pisses me off. I have had no problem with any of the
previous Minecraft updates (in fact I've liked then a lot) in the past; however
this update I feel is unnecessary (not the whole Halloween update just the
torch part). The only way I won’t be to pissed about this is if they are just
about as easy to make as torches. Like instead of using one piece of coal,
lanterns need two. Although, I will be pissed if they need flint, which I’m
guessing will be the unfortunate case.Flint is already somewhat difficult to
obtain and I need it for arrows which are extremely important, so dividing
flint between the two will be tedious. I’m hoping that Notch will take that
into consideration and make flint more easily accessible in this update. I did hear that all the torches we have
already crafted will become lanterns, so I’m a bit more rejoiced about the
whole thing but I think that making torches finite resources is one aspect of
realism that should be left out. What do you think?

I don't what all the jargon is before the actual post, but whatever.
