UNABLE TO LOGIN TO World of Minecraft CLIENT (MAC OSX)

Hey, im trying to log into the client with my minecraft.net details but i keep getting a message that reads:
"Unable to authenicate, your username/password may be incorrect or they are no servers to validate your login."
please could you give a solution to this? because i can log into minecraft and minecraft.net just fine :/

well...
make sure that you are entering your username/password correctly, clear the boxes and enter them again
if that doesnt help, redownload the client
if it still isnt working, try quickly making a new account on minecraft.net and then try using the client with that
if you are still stuck, come back and ask for help again and more "great" ideas will be thought up :P

you should tell mojange they will try to update minecraft and fix it
