yes you can well i think cuz i just go to minecraft jarr go to mob folder it shows creatures i click char and add the skin and i play but i am getting the real minecraft

it sucks how you have to have beta to use skins.i hate it alot!

To use skins, you must have legit paid beta from minecraft.net. (As told above by YouAreADevil). After you get beta click on your profile link on minecraft.net and you'll see a little area for skins.

Q: Skins are downloadable where?
A: They are downloadable anywhere, just search for it on google OR you could be creative and create your own.
Q: Should I use an up-to-date WoMClient to make this work?
A: In order to get a skin you need to legitimately purchase minecraft which is currently available for $21.95 USD (I believe that's a bit overpriced).
