When I click on 'sign in' NOTHING happens

Ok so I've downloaded World of Minecraft, extracted the app ect.
It loads up fine, then when I click sign in to get tot he server list....
Nothing happens, it's as if the application just closes down.
I try re-opening World of Minecraft, same thing when I click sign in again
Whats going wrong? :(
