Exactly what the title says. ive been playing single player servival for ages and have not found one dungon, so where are they located?

I have found several large cave systems with no dungons.

I once found one right under a tun of sand on a beach and some in caves it depends on the level generated

Dungeons are surrounded by mossy cobblestone. The roof is the only normal block. And as a tip, sand that was floating when the map was generated usually stays floating until you destory it or a block beside/under it.

If u here wierd noises in caves or underground homes that usally means a dungeons nearby.

A dungeo is an area which contains a mob spawner, 1 or 2 chests and is surrounded by cobblestone and mossycobbel stone.
TIP: To stop mobs spawning, either surround the mob spawner (incase u ask it looks like a metal cage with fire inside) with torches, or destroy the mob spawner with a diamond pick.

it's usually best to turn it to peaceful mode. also, keep the spawner there for later to use as a trap. keep torches near the spawner so monsters won't appear.

Everywhere. You can find them on the surface (1% chance,lol) or in caves,or you might dig into one. One might even be in an ocean
