Hello! I don't know about any sort of rule or form for asking for support, so I'll just lay it out here.

I've got a Lion Mac, with Java 6 and 7 both installed and updated to the latest versions. Now, I've been investigating into getting World of Minecraft to work recently, as I used to play it two years ago and wish to play it again. I've got to the point where I can attempt to join servers, but the servers kick me and say that I must download xwom. I tried downloading and installing it to no avail. But I saw somewhere that you don't need xwom to get World of Minecraft to work, so I'm confused. Anybody know what I can do? I'm willing to get logs, experiment, etc.

Thanks!

Had the same problem, it got confused with my old client. I recommend completly removing all World of Minecraft/xwom stuff, and then starting over and downloading the new client again.

I did that, but when i joined

I did that, but when i joined a server it said I had to upgrade to xwom. It might just be that particular server, but I shouldn't have to do xwom just to join a server should I?
