Hey everyone I'm back to bring you another edition of the World of Minecraft Newsletter!

It's been crazy since I last posted info on current World of Minecraft activities; Moving, remodeling, overtime followed by 58 hour work weeks, and little to no wi-fi...but now things have finally come together where I can sit down and chat about what's going on in the World of Minecraft community.

Announcements/Reminders:

• As you are all aware of by now, we have a new World of Minecraft bot, Slacky! I guess you could say he's the Herobrine of SMP now. Some of Slacky's commands can help you contact staff if you need help, as mentioned in the following link:

• What a shocker, a new update is coming, meaning a new map will be coming also...more thorough details on transition to 1.8 in the World of Minecraft servers will be posted as the server update progresses.

• NEXUS has now started closed beta testing! Contact MrSnowGlobe if you are interested

SMP

                           ------------MOB HYBRIDS RUN AMOK IN SMP!---------------

Recently reports have surfaced stating that a group of staff and World of Minecraft members had gathered to perform experiments on various mob combo's; particularly "stacking." Some of these tests were said to have resulted in bizarre albeit hilarious creations such as...

The Boatcow

The Squidvillager

and the SlimeSnowGolem!

It was reported also that a stack of flying bats escaped the enclosure where these experiments were being held and is rumored to be flying around SMP somewhere. If you should spot them, please contact the proper authorities immediately and approach with caution.

CMP

With the update out and the new map approaching...hop over to cmp and start making plans for awesome build ideas! My informant, Insider Sam will be looking around at the current projects going on and presenting some of his findings. Who knows, you may even get your own project featured here!

NEXUS

Back in the previous newsletters, Sam intercepted and decoded secret messages concerning what has now been revealed as Nexus, aka World of Minecraft Realms. Although there are several kinks being worked out, Nexus is expected to be ready soon.
