Notice: There is a new Official WoM Client out (3.0) which addresses many issues.

So here's the deal.

I have been using the World of Minecraft client for a few days now, and it has been working fine (or tolerably since my laptop is old). There have been times when I am in a level, when I turn fog completely off, the game freezes and shuts down. Then a yellow triangle with an exclamation point pops up in my taskbar. I assume that is because my display driver crapped out.

My problem is that the last time this happened, it won't load any levels or servers at all. It just stays on the black screen. I can log on, go to the server list, pick a level, and it takes me to the loading screen (or black screen) like normal. What isn't normal is that it doesn't load the level at all, and it freezes.

All my other games work fine. Just the World of Minecraft client isn't working... Help?

Thanks ahead of time.

Hi,

My suggestion is just re download the game. and your assumption about the little triangle is correct.
Hope it works,

Hi AwesomeG2,

Thank you for your reply.

I have tried re-downloading the game many times. But every time I re-download it, it loads the new install, but all of my info is still there as if it was never deleted.

I have gone through the computer looking for the files, and in the registry, to delete them all but not quite sure where to look for this.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

(p.s.:For anyone else who may reply to this, this is not a Java issue, as I have put it through those tests as well.)
