Hey everyone

Been into Minecraft for ages now but recently started looking around for a way to export some builds on Classic Multiplayer servers into my SSP maps. I use the World of Minecraft client and know about the Dump Level function but I'm not sure where to take it from here.
I've using MCEdit to import the .dat files dumped from World of Minecraft but it instead displayed the builds as weird horizontally sliced sections spread out over a massive area.
Has anyone here actually successfully done this recently or have any suggestions?

Classic files can be a real pain to get working in McEdit.

Normally when I dump a level I name it like level_name_x_y_z.dat and put the respective numbers in and it usually goes into Minecraft.

Just remember that the height limit is 256 so if you export something over that then things are bound to go wrong.

Guide? Where?

Hmm, good point about the classic file in MCEdit: Could be why it was acting so funny, but I don't actually even thing the map in question is higher than 256 blocks :/ could be something to do with it though...

And Sk1lz? you made a guide? Where is it, on your FB page or is that just part of the signature?
